May I break a plea for the code being released under the LGPL or OSGPL
(its the WxWindows relaxation of the LGPL). This way a wider group of
developers will be able to use and crucially contribute to its
development.

We are also thinking how to add flexibility to this code by decoupling
the OSG related application to the Mozilla or IE coupled code.

My hope for the new osgViewer library is that we'll be able to provide
a plugin for IE and Firefox. I don't have the expertise in these apps
to know how to go about it so it be great to see other work in
integrating the OSG with these apps. My thought is that
osgViewer::SimpleViewer would probably the easiest way to integrate.

Alternatively one could implement a osgViewer::GraphicsWindowActiveX
and GraphicsWindowFirefox and then integrate with any of the osgViewer
viewer classes.

Robert.
