Thank you for reply. I think that I solve the problem.I have one 3DS file and
another file, in which it is descriped the objects which are in 3DS file. I use
function 'findNamedNode' from tutorial 7 Finding and Manipulating a Switch and
DOF Node to find node for desire object in 3DS file basing on its name.If you
know the other way to this, please tell me.

What other objects within the 3DS file are you thinking of? The reader
effectively creates a group node from which it parents any geometries within
the 3DS file. The materials and textures of the geometries within the 3DS file
are maintained within the osg structures.
Could you be a little more specific as to what problem you are trying to solve
please ?
Regards
Neil
