Thanks for the newbie perspective, I've now added the direct link to Cmake
page.

One thing in flux (as well as the build system) is that we have moved
servers and
openscenegraph.org isn't yet redirected, so directly links to the website
still have
to go via the temporary openscenegraph.com site, rather than
openscenegraph.org.


or better yet, fix the README.txt not to refer to just the
website and itself, but to include the info that's in INSTALL.txt. (Why
are
there two files?)


These two files used to have more info, but bit by bit its evolved, with
much of the content moving to the wiki.  Perhaps it is time to merge INSTALL
and README.  I'll mull this over.

Good.  Shouldn't this should be on the CMake page, too?  New developers

want to know how to make the examples against the latest source, of
course!
