So.. what is the bin/osgPlugins* name in the Mike's OSG-2.0 installer?
I just checked, and the plugins are also directly in the bin directory in Mike's package (at least the zip version). So that should work fine, but as I said, it isn't like on other platforms where the plugins are in an osgPlugins-<version> subdirectory...
In that case, I think the problem the OP was having could have just been fixed by building the INSTALL target in the OSG project if he was compiling it himself.
