Hi All,
This week I began planning my trip to US at the beginning of August,
one stop along the way was going to be Siggraph in San Diego. On
review of my itinerary for the trip, it was pretty clear that it would
be not fit with clearing my current work backlog.
I also have to admit to being pretty exhausted from the level of
effort I've put in over the last 8 months - rather than take on more
work like a ten day foreign trip I need to do the opposite - take
things easy, recuperate. Alas I have too much work on to actually take
a full holiday any time soon, but a long weekend or two is the best
I'll be able to squeeze in this summer, but only if I don't venture to
Siggraph this year.
You must take care of yourself first. If you don't, then you will do
nobody any good. I regret that I will be unable to attend Siggraph this
year as well. My families planned family reunions on both weekends
bracketing Siggraph, and I have chosen my priority this year. I'm
especially sorry our siggraph course proposal was not accepted.
Get some rest! I hope the RSI is improving.
Eric
