Hi David, I'm afraid there isn't an external control for specifying the target number of vertices in osgdem, and vpb/DataSet doesn't provide a public method for this either.
Such as method/and command line control could easily by added though. Robert. On 7/9/07, David _ <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
Hi We´re using osgdem to generate some osga pagelods islands. We would like to get great detail in the texture but not so much polygon density. Right now we are generating in L8 in order to get the max texture detail we can achieve with the images we´ve got, but the vertex number is really too high. We would like to divide it by four at least. is there any way to reduce the vertex number while still having the same L8 texture detail??? thanks _________________________________________________________________ Descarga gratis la Barra de Herramientas de MSN http://www.msn.es/usuario/busqueda/barra?XAPID=2031&DI=1055&SU=http%3A//www.hotmail.com&HL=LINKTAG1OPENINGTEXT_MSNBH _______________________________________________ osg-users mailing list osg-users@openscenegraph.net http://openscenegraph.net/mailman/listinfo/osg-users http://www.openscenegraph.org/
