Regarding Openstreetmap derivitive Overture Maps and other users of
Parquet or "geoParquet" , #osgeolive is the only modern desktop linux
that has no support for GDAL Parquet reading.
The LiDAR stack has been similarly lacking for years, but this Parquet
situation is simply deficient.
