There are a number of other changes, but those include the major changes.

The Core 4.3 CT is not final yet, so there are therefore no certified 4.3
frameworks available. Equinox as the Core 4.3 RI is the only complete Core
4.3 implementation I know of. Apache Felix is busy implementing but has
not yet completed and/or is not yet available as a released version.

Sent by: [email protected]

Hi,

R4.3 Core Spec has changes as follows:
-------
1.6 Changes

- Replaced Package Admin Service with Wiring API, see Bundle Wiring API
Specification on page 137.
- Replaced Start Level Service with Start Level API, see Start Level
API Specification on page 151.
- Renumbered the services chapters starting at 50
- Added the following chapters
  - Resolver Hook Service Specification on page 311
  - Bundle Hook Service Specification on page 323
  - Service Hook Service Specification on page 329
  - Weaving Hook Service Specification on page 343
-------

As far as I see on the web, there is no product certified for R4.3 Core
yet.
http://www.osgi.org/Specifications/Certified

However, it would be very helpful if anyone could provide any
information regarding footprint(Jar file size) difference between R4.3
and R4.2 framework ?

# Especially, Equinox / Felix / Knopflerfish / SuperJ Engine (those are
# listed as a certified product for R4.2)

Best regards,
