It seems to follow with this thread and it clarifies some of the points
about the intentions around package version management I was still a little
fuzzy on.

I'm not going to say it's going to be easy for us (due to a huge api), but
now I have more material to offer my colleagues about what we need to do as
we evolve into this model.
