Hi Reza,

for OSGi is in our opinion the best approach for any software, thats needs to extensible or customizable. We use OSGi in desktop fat clients (Eclipse RCP) as well as in the backend and even on embedded devices.

The main success factor for us are all the specifications, that cover all the important topics of an enterprise application. Since OSGi our applications are more straight forward, cleaner compared with JEE for instance.

Regards,

Mark

Reza,

OSGi is an excellent foundation for sophisticated adaptive distributed
Enterprise systems: in my opinion far more so than the current REST/Docker
Microservices approach.

My company has worked with a number of Financial Service organisations over the
years - front, middle and back-office. I’d be happy to discuss our experiences
further off list.

If interested - ping me an e-mail.

Regards

Richard
