With DS, one can use it or not on a bundle-by-bundle basis, and even use it in part for some components in a bundle. Do you know if Spring OSGi will allow this kind of selective, piecemeal integration?
The key to Spring-OSGi is the extender bundle, which listens for bundle events and creates application contexts, etc. for any bundles that provide spring metadata under META-INF/spring. You can selectively choose which beans to expose as OSGi services. There's a good presentation by Costin Leau on Spring-OSGi at http://www.bejug.org/confluenceBeJUG/display/PARLEYS/Spring+OSGi Cheers, Stuart _______________________________________________ OSGi Developer Mail List [email protected] http://www2.osgi.org/mailman/listinfo/osgi-dev
