Best known for his lead role in the 'Terminator' series, the US
California State Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is expected to visit
Istanbul to attend a hydrogen energy conference which will be hosted by
Turkey.

Schwarzenegger has been invited to the conference due to his interest
and work with 'clean energy'. The Turkish Foreign Affairs Ministry is
reportedly going to contact Schwarzenegger to secure his participation
in the conference. Speaking at 'Hydrogen Energy Systems' conference,
International Hydrogen Energy Congress & Exhibition Chairman, Engin
Ture, said that they will be hosting an international conference,
focusing on hydrogen energy systems. Ture said that 26 speakers will
participate in the three-day conference, which will take place at the
Lutfi K?rdar Congress and Exhibition Center on June 13th. Ture pointed
out though that they have invited California Governor Schwarzenegger to
Istanbul, "we guess that the possibility of his coming is 60 or 70
percent. The Foreign Affairs Ministry is dealing with the subject." Ture
referred to Schwarzenegger's support for environmental issues.is. "He
has had 200 hydrogen filling stations established in California. We are
waiting for Arnold, "he added.
