Since the actual article subject does not contain the term
"terrorist-supporting organization", OSINT posts overwhelmingly use
actual subject titles, you did not couch the accusation as an opinion
and you are not a journalist, it is doubtful you would have any fair
use or first amendment protection if CAIR sues for libel. You would
have to prove in court that the CAIR ORGANIZATION itself, not just
some members, supports terrorism. And, win or lose, lawyers cost
MONEY. Fortunately, it is doubtful anyone sympathetic to CAIR reads
OSINT posts. But the risk is there, and not necessary to take when you
can say the exact same thing with relative safety in opinion comments.
Having said all that, I am darn glad the case noted in the article was
dismissed. And, in my opinion, CAIR supports islamists and should be
investigated thoroughly.

Respectfully,

David Bier
