   1/28/2007 1:00:00 AM

DUBAI: Eurolink, a Germany-based company, is chasing a deal under which
it would take over the security operations of Jebel Ali International
airport, says its Software Development chief Christian Kappacher.

One of the prime goals of Eurofunk showcasing its latest technology at
the Intersec 2007 exhibition in Dubai was to boost its chance for the
deal as well as other contracts in the region. Kappacher his company was
in talks with the concerned authorities in its bid to provide
security-related infrastructure at the Jebel Ali airport.

He noted Eurolink had vast experience in installing several modern,
computer-controlled command centres at the airports. It hinstalled the
control room at Frankfurt International airport and Munich International
airport. The company claims to be the first European company to offer
UNIX V-based deployment control computer technology which contains voice
over radio emergency call retrieval and voice memory, MPC controlled
alarm systems with full screen operation.

The entire deployment processing and alarm processing are fully
automatic for the first time with the support of the graphics system
from the telecom computer system with integration of IP radio data
transmission in vehicle navigation. The company has received contracts
for building more than 20 integrated and computer-controlled command
centres in Germany and Austria.
