A simplification on [1] and the corresponding discussions (retroactively ;-) ): in the 200 response case, there is actually no need to include the Request smushed in the Response as part of the 200 payload. The 200 payload can easily be just the Automation Response representation itself (while there is no harm I can see in smushing in the matching Automation Request, there is no need to either so it's simpler to just have the Response).
