Hello Folks,

I would like to ask a previous question in a different way. The question
was about how to build a game to help practitioners share their effective
OS techniques with each other.

A game might have been the wrong framing. Perhaps what I'm hoping to see
co-created on this thread is more of a fun collaborative activity than it
is a game. After all, we're serious people, right? I'll propose my design
below, but I'm interested in hearing your designs for such an activity
which might be quite different.

After thinking about it for a few days, this is the design that's appealing
to me...

   - A bunch of practitioners set aside 30 minutes to gather online at the
same time, staring intently at a website which they are about to populate
with insights they've gleaned from years of experience. There is an audio
connection so they can speak to each other. Video is optional. If the
group is large, then it breaks out into subgroups.
   - The first turn begins. One participant offers the spark which
consists of a single sentence in the format of "Out of nowhere, [choose:
the client / a participant / etc] [then fill in the blank]. What do you
   do?"
   - All participants in that small group write down their responses &
   their underlying rationale.
   - Everyone can then see each other's responses and can give a thumbs up
for the ones they like best. Author's names are not shown at this point.
   - Optional, depending on whether you want competition or not: Authors'
names are then revealed and someone gets a point for receiving the most
   votes.
   - The next turn begins.

Over time, I believe a game like this that people would actually play can
create a wonderful community resource. How would you improve it? What
other kind of game can you imagine?

I'm asking for advice here, because this game will be one of the apps
available for the Dialogue & Facilitation Community of Practice on QiqoChat
<http://dialogue.qiqochat.com/>. The community is equipped with this initial
set of one dozen collaborative tools
<https://qiqochat.wordpress.com/all-tools-on-qiqochat/> for creating what
is essentially an online, year-round OS environment open to all types of
facilitators. It's free for a year for the first 100 members, and $5/month
thereafter. There are 18 free slots remaining as of today.

I hope you are interested in joining us there, and I look forward to
hearing everyone's responses to this post above!
