Cathy: The group you are describing sounds very much like Search for Common Ground. They use a structured dialogue process and have done a lot with the Pro-Choice - Pro-Life groups, among others. Their website (I had some problems with it loading properly - dunno if it's the website or my browser at the moment): http://www.searchforcommonground.org/ They have a recent publication by Cohen & Prior which might be what you are looking for. They have a sub-page dealing directly with the topic with phone number: http://www.sfcg.org/networkm.htm Two people I am aware of who has worked on it are Mary Jackstreit and Adrienne Kaufmann (Adrienne recently wrote a dissertation on her work on the topic).
Conflict resolutin sites are numerous. If you e-mail me off-line (unless this is of interest to a wider group on the listserv) with a bit more of an idea specifically what you are interested in, I probably can help.
