I was thinking about the challenge of selling the idea of Open Space to potential clients who want to think that they can know in advance the outcomes of a meeting. You know, and I know, that there will be productive work accomplished, but we can't predict or promise what, specifically, those outcomes will be. We need a client who will be comfortable with the thought that the outcomes, while valuable, will be unknown in advance. Which of the four types do you think are more likely to have that quality?
