http://www.theworldcafe.com/storyconversing.html The consultation process led to substantial changes to the design of a major new facility. This meant that citizens who participated were able to see very tangible outcomes of their contributions. This does not always happen! Another feature was that council staff responsible for the planning and design met in a relaxed way with those who would be users of the facility. Reportedy they greatly appreciated this opportunity.
