Michael, Artur-- Because I was generalizing, I seem to have given the impression that I would intervene to get the results I wanted. Usually, the dynamic is more like re-opening space in myself to accept that where the group is going is not what I expected--but it is what is needed. And sometimes I do intervene with the managers to insist that we will continue in Open Space, even if they think it is not working. So the "intervention" is in the direction of allowing self-organization to continue.
Like you, Michael, I have had to do some un-learning, and I'm sure that will continue. Often, I feel that the only useful thing I bring is that I know that the meeting will work.
