Here is my thought:
Let the planning group (or the sponsor) ponder this question.
Biggest advantage is that you have less work on your hands ("Never
work harder than you have to")
Second big advantage is that the ball stays where it will be after
you leave the scene.And here my experience: Once the planning group has a pretty clear idea of what they expect from the open space and once they have worked out the Theme for the os, they find it pretty easy to get a reading on who all should be at the os so that what they expect from the event under the Theme chosen will have a good chance to actually come about. When are you in Berlin again?
