Thanks, BJ--I'm happy to get some facts filled in here from those whose memories are more accurate, or different from mine. Probably more accurate to say that I became aware of Earth Day around 20 years ago. As for age, I am 65 and happy about that, as there was a real possibility, ten years ago, that I would not see 65.
