Assuming fully zoomed out is level 0, a large lake is visible until zoom level 10, but disappears at zoom level 11.
As I searched for answers, I noticed this has been a reoccurring problem for many years, affecting not only lakes, but islands and oceans as well, perhaps others. I pinged an old bug report which I thought was a very similar issue, and got told to file a new bug report, as if each is a completely new issue. Can someone better explain this phenomenon and how to permanently get rid of this recurring problem? Is there no automated test that can be done to detect simple visibility issues like this? What is involved in each fix? Is there a specific documented procedure to follow besides, "file a bug report, maybe we'll fix this one lake/island/ocean/etc, but pretend it has never happened before or will never happen again, and do nothing to fix the larger problem, except repeat the same old time consuming process of fixing it piecemeal"? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Osmand" group.
