Hallöchen! Assuming that the performance of the CPU cores is the same and that there are no other apps running, does it matter whether I use Osmand on a 4-core or an 8-core CPU?
As a related subject, is the performace gain significant between 1,5 and 2 GB of RAM? The background is that recent Osmand updates have made my old Galaxy S3 mini *very* slow, and I know that it is running quite well on a Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2016 with 8 cores and 2 GB RAM. And now I think about buying a Samsung Xcover 3 with 4 cores and 1,5 GB of RAM. Tschö, Torsten. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Osmand" group.
