If some manual work is for you less evil than using various tools, then you can manually copy the points
between the files, as any GpX file is a plain text file
That you can edit by any plain text editor like notepad.(Rather avoid using Word)

If the data are not huge, it may be easier for you then dealing with scary tools.

Or, exactly the opposite, you may realize the tools are not scary at all .
