Hi Harry: you're right, I misread the problem. I'm unable to duplicate what you describe: OsmAnd calculating a route "from your current location towards the start point (From:) you actually want and specified (too late), and then to the Destination." But in trying to make the From: and To: work, I'm having little luck: re-routing, in particular, is confounding.
I also notice that OsmAnd no longer prompts if you want to follow a displayed GPX. That may be an intentional UI change, but seems to me this was another useful feature now missing in the redesign.
