IMHO the issue is not in OsmAnd but is in OSM maps.
If that is the case, it would seem the correct action is to either:-
Amend the data on the OSM Map.
or if you are uncertain how to do this, then:-
Add a "note" at the relevant location on the OSM Map.
Do you know to do this?
(I am not an expert, though I have done a few amendments on OSM Maps, and 
made many notes for others to agree/amend.)

FWIW, here is an example of a fairly typical breakwater on the south coast
