Thank you, Helmut for taking the time to reply. Unfortunately, I am not a programmer and do not understand your advice and what to do.
Here is what I did and what am trying to do right now. I tried to add a friend’s address as point of interest (POI) on both OSMAND and MAPS.ME while the apps were open but neither worked. I think MAPS.ME allowed me to view the entire street but no house number. I did the same on Google/MYMAPS and there it worked. In total, I put 3 test POI on the map, across several US states and then exported the data into a KML file - on my desktop. Next, I emailed the file to myself. Next, I touched-opened it on my Android phone. The MAPS.ME icon appeared. I assumed it meant that MAPS.ME imported the KLM data, but I could net see the POI on the map. If I uninstall MAPS.ME from my phone, will OSMAND automatically open/import KLM data? Thank you!
