If you view on github you have the repository Osmand https://github.com/osmandapp/Osmand/ (the "master" branch) The master branch is always the main branch. Other developments are often split off to "sub" branches. If you follow the branch below it: https://github.com/osmandapp/Osmand/tree/turn_screen_on_plugin, you can follow the developments on this "turn screen on plugin".
