I use scrcpy as well and quite a lot, but in that case it does not work on your desktop. It works on your Android device which you have to couple via adb over usb or over tcip. (The latter is how I use it). If the OP really want to use it ON his desktop, he needs something else then scrcpy. If he simply wants to "play" with OsmAnd on a big screen with a full-size keyboard instead of an on-screen soft-keyboard, scrcpy is a fantastic option.
