I was going to say that Calculate route for first and last point should be 
enabled; otherwise you get those straight lines when you're off the GPX.  
But looking on v 3.7.2 while navigating a GPX, I don't see any GPX-specific 
options including the two you mention. Could someone confirm or point to 
where they are?
