you are right, xavier. when I had almost forgotten about it, osmand spoke 
and returned a route of less than 200km after some 10 minutes. for years I 
have been using a 1,2-routing-xml, which take some 10 seconds for the same 
task. but all of a sudden my phone seems to have forgotten about it. I 
already asked harry-the-wiz if I should just re-install the 5 year old file 
again ... osmand sometimes is like a diva ...
