just my 2c about your multiple posts which I have not really been interested in but I keep on being annoyed at the quite offensive replies ... I a more or less of the same opinion about selecting software following the same criteria you mention above, except I do not tend to be vocal about it, and especially not flame people who do their best about providing useful opensource software which at least fill part of my needs. Why require that a software should be exclusively GNU/Linux when by doing so you exclude the whole range of other unices and associated operating systems, and why care whether the author wanted to be MS-Windows compatible or not ? remember we are talking about opensource software: if you are not happy about it, demonstrate better skills, or just be happy with what you get ! At the moment I have not found any informative replies from you side other than fundamentalist opinions of little use for the opensource community. JM
