Hi, As you may have noticed the development on OSS has been very silent during past months. There are few reasons to that:
- As a part of the contract between 4Front Technologies ans Sun we have been porting existing OSS drivers to Sun's Boomer subsystem. This has consumed pretty muchc all the resources we have. - I have started in a new job as a full time consultant for Nixu Oy (www.nixu.com). The work I do is software development but not related with OSS. This means that I will continue development of OSS in my spare time. - Recently I have not had any spare time. I'm moving to a new apartment during February and this process is taking all my spare time. However after that I will have more time to work on OSS again. The work I plan to do in the near future is: - Making OSS ready to be compiled together with the Linux 2.6 source build. - Rewriting the HDaudio driver (which is a significantly large task).
