We have a v1.0 beta available to anyone interested in looking at the new features and testing it for problems. It has numerous new features, including:
-Support for dynamic IP addresses in the client/server communication (for DHCP networks). http://www.ossec.net/dcid/?p=19 -Storing full log in the alerts file. -Adding more information to the active response logs and changing it to the logs directory (active-responses.log). -Support for glob formated files in the logcollector list. -Added support for Windows Routing and Remote Access logs. (Thanks BlackCryptoknight - black_cryptoknight at yahoo.com for the logs). -Added support for ASL (Apple system log) in the following formats: http://www.ossec.net/wiki/index.php/Asl.log (Thanks to ChuckD <mdmonk at gmail.com> for the logs). -Added support to registry monitoring on the Windows agent.
