Hi Michael,

Version 1.0 (and the betas) should be backward compatible with 0.9-3
and all older versions until 0.8.0. In some of my setups, I just upgraded
the server to the beta and kept the clients with an older version (0.9-3)
without any error.

Can you make sure that you are not using the same key for more than
one agent? If you accidentaly used the same key for more than one
you would be getting these errors... Also, make sure that there is no
duplicated ids or agent names in your agent list (the manage_agents
tool is supposed to prevent duplicates).

Let us know how it goes...

Thanks,

Well, I spoke a bit too soon. But maybe this is by design. One agent
will not stay connected, and I get the 'Duplicated counter' messages
even after deleting all the rids files on the client and server. This
agent has *not* been updated to the latest version. I'm testing
backwards compatibility. Should the 0.9-3 version be compatible with
the latest beta? Is backwards compatibility a design goal? If I have
50 agents to update, I would want to make sure that I could update the
server then have time to update the agents, but not lose the HIDs
functionality.
