I've never restarted any of my FreeBSD, Linux or Windows agents after install and they all work fine. Shouldn't be necessary on any OS AFAIK. Not a bad idea to verify it starts at boot time so you know it'll work the next time you restart (which, depending on the system, could be months from now so it can be easy to forget I know from experience). But it isn't a requirement. Chris
