I upgraded my test box and will see how that does. I'll be out of town the next couple days, so can't risk the production server right now, but will try upgrading it on Monday and re-enabling rootcheck. That'll be much more telling since it spawned the processes about 30 times as quickly as my test box. Thanks Daniel! Chris
