Hello, Just to inform you that I solved my problem.
I used 2 another machines (one for ossec agent and another for ossec server) with Linux CentOs 5 installed : now all ok: I see in correct mode the messages, also in mysql tables "data" and "alerts" ; moreover, in the ossec.log file now I also see the 2 messages: ... ossec-dbd: Connected to database 'ossecdb' at 'localhost' . ... ossec-dbd Started ... Maybe, I think that probably it was a problem with the previous OS used (Red Hat enterprise 4) in server machine. Thank you for your help.
