Greetings Daniel: I upgraded our ossec server to 1.6.1, and then I've been slowly upgrading agents including the Window servers that this post is about.
Even on 1.6.1, I'm still seeing the following: 2008/10/09 18:06:14 ossec-remoted(1218): ERROR: Unable to send message to 016. 2008/10/09 18:06:20 ossec-remoted(1218): ERROR: Unable to send message to 016. 2008/10/09 18:07:36 ossec-remoted(1218): ERROR: Unable to send message to 016. 2008/10/09 18:07:42 ossec-remoted(1218): ERROR: Unable to send message to 016. 2008/10/09 18:07:46 ossec-remoted(1218): ERROR: Unable to send message to 016. 2008/10/09 18:07:51 ossec-remoted(1218): ERROR: Unable to send message to 016. 2008/10/09 18:07:57 ossec-remoted(1218): ERROR: Unable to send message to 016.
