If the machine IP addresses are something like 192.168.xxx.xxx with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 then you can use 192.168.0.0/16 for the IP address when adding them using manage agents. Otherwise you can do the same ipaddress/mask with any scenario. It worked flawlessly in my environment of 300 users all in a number of different subnets.
