Whoops, lots of simultaneous posts. We are using gcc; we installed it and supporting software specifically to build OSSEC agents.
Like I said, we're able to successfully build agents on this machine from the OSSEC 2.4 tarball; the problem seems restricted to the 2.6 build. Jeremy, what version of HP-UX do you have?
