Thanks for the info... I have checked the libssl files present in AIX and we dont have libssl.so file, only /usr/lib/libssl.a file is present. i have checked the config file of the ossec greping for libssl.so to make the changes the way mentioned in the link. But it doesnt have libssl.so line in the configure file. Let me try running the script in debug mode and see where it goes wrong.
