To me this is the bigger worry. Most religious people in the world are Blue, which is one big step short of Orange and the start of a truly open minded attitude to life and the world. Blue is still "Us" versus "Them". So Red Muslim terrorists still get sympathy from average Blue Muslims just because they are "basically on our side"; "Muslim brothers". "Your Muslim terrorists blew up innocent people"... "Yeah but your USA and British governments are engaged in oppression which is also a form of terrorism" Meanwhile the Blue in USA is still lumping all ragheads together and doesn't particularly care how many innocents died in those "smart bombing" runs. Again, it's just more sympathy for "Us" and less concern for "Them". And of course not all Muslims are Red or Blue. So it's natural that they won't self-denounce their own kind. You only really get that at higher/later memes. One day I hope that there will be lots of Muslim Kevins who spend most of their time worrying about what crap their own Muslim brothers are doing, instead of blaming the West at every turn. But while it's mostly Blue, make it a Kamikaze attack and cite a verse while you die, and it can't help but gain respect from the otherwise peaceful brothers on *your* side. Sill, there may well be critical differences in the content of each religion on a Blue level. Take the afterlife for example. Are you going to go to heaven and be handsomely rewarded for your glorious deeds? Or are you going to just come back and have to clean up all the shit you created in your previous life?
