I'm actually inclined to agree, in a fair media landscape. There's so much to attack Palin on without dragging her daughter into it. And in fact, nobody significant in politics or the media been attacking her on it. The media have been making a big deal of it, but not so much as an attack as because it involves sex and comparisons to Britney's sister, and yada yada. Of course, that's nothing to do with the Lewis' topic, you're just trying to change the subject.
On the other hand, let's make no mistake, if Obama had a 17-year-old girl in the same situation, it'd be nonstop wall-to-wall coverage, and it wouldn't be limited to lefty blogs. And a final point: Daily Kos is a left-wing website, with very little top-down editorial control, that makes its ideological affiliation clear. Fox News is a massive propaganda machine that tries to pretend it's impartial as a way of distorting our nation's politics. Not the same thing at all. -Patrick On Sep 5, 2008, at 2:47 PM, Charles Bennett wrote: > So how would you describe the 'kos' attacks on Palin and her daughter? > > Fair game? > > Here is how one person (on the left) sees it. > > <http://wizardfkap.blogspot.com/2008/09/its-over-weve-lost.html> > > =c= > > _______________________________________________ > OSX-Nutters mailing list | [email protected] > http://lists.tit-wank.com/mailman/listinfo/osx-nutters > List hosted at http://cat5.org/ _______________________________________________ OSX-Nutters mailing list | [email protected] http://lists.tit-wank.com/mailman/listinfo/osx-nutters List hosted at http://cat5.org/
