Because you know the American people so well. Because you were around for the Inauguration or actually talk to a number of americans with differing views daily. The population as a whole knows things need changing and if you look at the polls the vast majority are willing to let him try and give him the time he needs. We are talking about at least a year before they pass judgement. He also has shown to not hold a grudge. And to top it off he has so far been doing what he said he would do. If anything he is showing his ability to control his opponents regarding how he is dealing with the repubs.
