Hi, We are playing with a code which uses otb::SiftFastImageFilter, but we are facing a segmentation fault issue.
The source code has been compacted here to keep only the problem: http://pastebin.com/LHWv5eQz (As you can see this pipeline is simply composed of a otb::ImageFileReader connected to a otb::SiftFastImageFilter.) When we try this toy on little images, it works fine. But when we give a try with our 50k x 40k image, there is this segfault issue! I doubt physical RAM is the point (we are on a 1TB RAM smp node). OTB version is 3.16 Os is Scientific Linux 6.2 (Carbon) We try to learn more with GDB, and we get this: *Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.0x00002aaab318cb92 in sift_aligned_malloc(unsigned long, unsigned long) () from /opt/cluster/gcc-soft/GEOSUD-StandAlone/gcc-4.6.x-soft/OTB/3.16-mapnik-2/lib/otb/libsiftfast.so.3.16*(You can get the entire output log here: http://pastebin.com/c6qnA08N) Do you guys have some idea to help us?
