Hi,

You should not modify the calcuations unless you know exactly what you are doing. To handle ortho-ready images in OTB properly, you can use extended filenames. Please read :

http://orfeo-toolbox.org/packages/nightly/latest/SoftwareGuide/SoftwareGuidech6.html#x26-900006.10

If you add the skip_carto option on both your images, you should be able to stereo-rectify them without any code change.

Regards,

Julien

I tried stereorectificationFieldSource with ortho-ready images and I was unable to perform the epipolar rectification. I checked the code and found out some sensor specific calculations (such as sensor to ground and ground to other image transformations). I rewrote those transformation so that it is possible to transform left image to ground and to right image. When I do the rectification, instead of epipolar lines that are parallel to +x axis, I got epipolar lines that have certain angle. Any ideas what is wrong with my methodology or any ideas to performs epipolar rectification on ortho-ready images would be very much appreciated. I know the original code is for sensor geometry but I dont see any reason not to use the same technique for ortho-ready images.

All the best
Emre
