Hello, You cannot use the mingw binaries(currently) to build your HelloWorld project. This is simply because the headers are not deployed with it. Its only for end user's to use OTB without OSGeo4W and any other installation. AFAICT, OTB runs like an alien application without assuming any prior packages installed in your windows system.
