Hi, I have the same feeling. The origin seems strange. When I open the uncut and the cut images on top of each other in QGis, the location of the cut image is wrong (and I performed the cutting operation with montreverdi). I used gdal_translate -a_ulur to change the extent and obtain a cut image that look at the correct location but the resultant orthorectifed image is still at the wrong location.
I am using OTB 4.2. I will try to repeat the same situation with orfeo example data. May be it would be easier to point out the issue that way.
